Lindsay Park will have a runner in The Everest with Sydney casino The Star allocating its slot in the $10 million sprint at Randwick to the stable which has yet to confirm its runner.
Senior trainer David Hayes said he had several horses in contention and had negotiated with The Star to make the decision on which horse would run closer to race day on October 14.
Leading the pack is Newmarket Handicap winner Redkirk Warrior with Goodwood winner Vega Magic and Blue Diamond Stakes winner Catchy among the leading contenders.
Last week Tabcorp confirmed the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained English would represent the wagering company.
The other confirmed runners are champion sprinter Chautauqua, whose part-owner Greg Ingham bought the slot, Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign who runs for Yu Long Investments, Magic Millions winner Houtzen (Aquis Farm) and Fell Swoop (William Inglis and Son).
Coolmore also owns a slot with unbeaten colt Caravaggio the favoured runner.
